We’re excited to welcome Shook Twins and The National Parks to the farm for a special night on Sauvie Island! The National Parks, an indie folk band from Utah known for their cinematic sound and driving rhythms, are joined by Portland’s own Shook Twins, repeat performers and longtime farm favorites whose high-energy shows have made them a Northwest staple. The National Parks will kick off the evening, and Shook Twins will close it out.

Grab a blanket or low-back lawn chair and settle in among the wildflowers, animals, and open fields of our regenerative farm on Sauvie Island. Arrive early to enjoy fresh-grilled farm food, plus local craft beer, cider, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.

Expect an intimate performance in a beautiful farm setting just 20 minutes from downtown Portland.

This is a limited-capacity outdoor show. Advance tickets strongly recommended.

ABOUT SHOOK TWINS

Identical twin sisters, Katelyn and Laurie Shook have been harmonizing with each other since they came out of the womb! After 10 years of being choir nerds, they began writing songs together in college and never really stopped, making a career out of making indie folk pop music together for nearly 20 years. Since their 2008 debut You Can Have The Rest, Shook Twins have conjured up dreamy folk with ghostly traces of Americana tradition uplifted by transcendently hummable melodies and lilting cinematic instrumentation. They’ve since released three more studio albums, each one with their own unique flavor while deepening their sound and groove as a band.

They’ve graced legendary stages such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre with Gregory Alan Isakov and Ani DiFranco in addition to sharing bills with The Lumineers, The Head and the Heart, Sarah Jarosz, The Wood Brothers, Greensky Bluegrass, Indigo Girls and many others. Not to mention, they’ve carved a home for themselves after playing Northwest String Summit and Oregon County Fair over ten times each as well as appearing at High Sierra Music Festival, Lightning In A Bottle, Bumbershoot, Hulaween, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Electric Forest, Summer Camp Music Festival, and beyond.

During 2012, the band welcomed multi-instrumentalist and “everything dude” Niko Slice on guitar, mandolin, and bass. Rounding out the sound (and the family) further, dynamic drummer, Alex Radakovich, joined in 2017 and keyboardist and bassist Aber Miller joined the fold in 2018 to round out the “forever band”. The band is known for their hauntingly angelic twin harmonies, deep groove, thoughtful melodies, weird vocal tricks with telephones and beatboxing and the infamous giant percussive Golden Egg that grants wishes.

Their joy of performing together is always apparent, collaborative and contagious! At every show they invite you in, and their hope is that you walk away feeling more like yourself than you did before you came.

ABOUT THE NATIONAL PARKS

The National Parks are a husband and wife duo that capture the expansive beauty of the world through soaring melodies and evocative storytelling. The Provo, Utah-based duo—Brady Parks (vocals, guitar) and Megan Parks (violin)—have always sought to translate the awe of nature, the thrill of adventure, and the quiet moments of introspection into their music. Their blend of indie folk-pop, cinematic instrumentation, and rich harmonies invites listeners into a world of wide-open landscapes and intimate emotions.

Since their formation in 2013, The National Parks have been dedicated to crafting music that feels as vibrant and boundless as the outdoors that inspire them. With over 200 million streams across five full-length albums—including Young (2013), Until I Live (2015), Places (2017), Wildflower (2020), and 8th Wonder (2023)—the band has built a dedicated fanbase that spans the globe. Tracks like "Time," which earned over 9.3 million Spotify streams, and "I Wanna Go," which became an anthem of freedom and exploration, have made a lasting impression on the indie-folk scene.\

Bluegrass Situation praises them for having "made a mission of translating the breathtaking majesty of the outdoors into awe-inspiring roots pop—music that ends up like oxygen for the soul," while Wonderland Magazine states, "Through their captivating harmonies, organic orchestration, and lush symphonies, The National Parks have enraptured audiences." Now, the group takes their vision to new heights with the release of their sixth album, Wild Spirit.
